When Oranges Fall

Ko loved oranges more than anything in the world—but only the ones from the tree next door. No other oranges were as sweet, as fragrant, or as satisfying. To Ko, those homegrown fruits were perfection itself. There was just one problem: the tree belonged to the boy next door. His name was Ko, too. To avoid confusion, everyone called them Ko One and Ko Two. Beyond sharing a name, however, they had nothing in common. Ko One was impulsive and mischievous, while Ko Two was calm, composed, and impossibly difficult to deal with. They were complete opposites, as though fate had paired a troublesome little orange-loving rascal with the one person destined to keep him in line. As the years pass, the story of the two Kos unfolds. What begins as a childhood rivalry gradually deepens into something neither of them expects, as they grow up together and discover feelings that quietly take root alongside them.
